On the Road for Jesus May 3, 2005
Saints,
Sharon and I had an incredible weekend. We rode to Cross City where we joined over 60 bikers to invade 3 prisons there. On Saturday, we rode into the Cross City Prison with 44 mototcycles (a record). The men there went wild as we circled the compound 3 times and many came out for the program. Many bikers gave their testimonies.
[Later] in the afternoon, Sharon and I rode to the Lancaster Youth Prison to talk to the kids there. Many kids made a decision for Jesus. After we were done, we rode to Crystal River where I was to perform a funeral the next morning.
After the funeral, we rode (200 miles) to Avon Park Youth Prison where Scotty and Jessica, who have a ministry called Passion for Prison, joined us. It was quite a ride to get to this prison but well worth it. About 60 kids showed up and after I gave the invitation only about 5 were left standing. PTL.! A busy but productive weekend.
I just came back from doing the spiritual orientation in the jail and 14 guys made a first time decision for Christ. God is good, ain't He???
I am praying about Sharon being with our ministry full time. We go on these long weekends and she gets up and has to go to work. Since the accident, she confesses, she is not the same. Please keep this in prayer because I am struggling doing all the stuff I do plus phone calls and PR work. Sharon is an incredible help but she has to do this plus work.
Be blessed and bless others.
